You touched a memory for me when we did that to save money, or because we didn't have any money to begin with. All my family has always liked our own food better than cafeteria. It's better for you too because mom gets love on that bread when she makes that sandwich...
i want to, for all the above reasons, but i get too lazy. we work together and we always go to lunch together. i hate making lunch.......... he likes going out anyway. we do pretty well financially so it's not a prob, but i know how much we are wasting by going out. oh well.





i am proud that you do that for your husband. it's the type of wife i think i should be but just am not. like perfect house, perfect meals. i strive for it but just never get there.





do you get up and make his breakfast? just wondering... i know a lot of women do that. but i don't do that. again, i feel like a failure.

Yes I pack my hubby's lunch Monday-Friday. I even pack him something for his breakfast in the same bag. It mainly is to save money, but he also likes REAL food as he likes to call homemade items. He likes being spoiled.
